Is it a bird? It’s a plane? No, it’s Superman! There’s been a rumor for months about a new film about our favorite Kryptonian, and now we have confirmation. To give us the news is James Gunn with a post on his official Twitter account.
From Christopher Reeve to Brandon Routh, from Tom Welling to Henry Cavill, the superhero changes his face again, and David Corenswet takes on the role. At his side can not miss the tenacious journalist Lois Lane who will be played by Rachel Brosnahan. But who are the two new protagonists?
The new Lois and Clark
David Corenswet, born in 1993 in Philadelphia to two lawyer parents. From 2019, he played River Barkley in the original Netflix television series The Politian and in 2020 took the role of Jack Castello in the mini-series Hollywood. 1.93 tall and with beautiful blue eyes, it has the charm of Superman as it looks incredibly like Henry Cavill when he was young.
Rachel Brosnahan, born in Milwaukee in 1990, is the wife of actor Jason Ralph (Quentin Coldwater in The Magician). She is best known for her role as Miriam “Midge” Maisel in the Prime Video series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which earned her two Golden Globes, two Critics’ Choise Awards, an Emmy Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awars. An incredible actress has been hired to play an incredible reporter.
